"29"

A seemingly perfect family makes the move from Canada to the US.  The new environment brings out the old and unresolved issues. 

David (31) and Ana (29) have been together since they met in college. They soon welcomed a daughter Sasha (9) and have been together ever since.
David has been a supportive husband and a loving father.  Ana is the quiet type who keeps to herself most the time and besides her best friend Gipsy (29) does not have much of an outside life. The whole family is gathered a dinner to send them off to the US where David has received a new job.  The family is a colorful ensemble of characters bringing out a lot of laughs as they all wish them a safe and happy transition. At the end of the evening Ana and Gipsy have a long good bye that perhaps is a little to intimate.

The new country brings everyone something new. David flourishes at his job, Sasha fits right into school and Ana falls in love with another woman!
Mia (35) is a ball of energy full of life and free of all the restraints Ana has put on herself for so long.  At first uneasy Ana falls all out in love, David now alone has to lick his wounds and pick him self up. 

The story reaches a climax at Gipsy's wedding at which the whole extended family and David's new girlfriend come face to face.  Through a lot of humor  and painful remarks, like only a loving family can bring, we take a look at a woman now comfortable in her own skin for the first time.  Ana is glorious and vibrant holding her own ground with everyone proudly.  In front of everyone Mia proposes to Ana.
